Large hand painted art deco ceramic dancer known as Sonate. Made by Goldscheider and designed by Josef Lorenzl in 1936. Marked under the base with the Goldscheider Wien Austria mark and signed Lorenzl with model number 7582 impressed. A similar one can be seen in the Onu book on page 155 and it is mentioned in the Goldscheider book on page 464. 13.5 inches (34cm) high. In excellent vintage condition.
