With natural marbling, it stays juicy and tender when cooked gently, making it perfect for stews, casseroles, or curries. Packed in 500g portions. Cooking Guide Brown the diced pork in a little oil for extra flavour. Add vegetables, stock, wine or sauce base of your choice. Cook gently: On the hob: simmer for 1½–2 hours In the oven: 160°C (140°C fan) for 1½–2 hours In a slow cooker: low for 6–8 hours Ensure the pork is tender before serving. Recipe Idea: Pork & Apple Cider StewIngredients 500g diced pork shoulder 2 onions, sliced 2 carrots, diced 2 apples, peeled and chopped 300ml cider 200ml chicken stock 2 tbsp wholegrain Mustard 1 tbsp oil, salt & pepper Method Brown the pork in oil, then set aside. Cook onions and carrots until softened. Return pork to the pan with apples, cider, stock, and Mustard. Simmer gently for 1½–2 hours until tender. Serve with creamy mash or crusty bread.
